The Day When I Timed Every Baazi to Test the Punctuality of the Game

Are you wondering if the start of all Baazi is on time or not? For me, as a person, I will check all Baazi every day just to see if it starts on time or not.

From the external point of view, Kolkata FF looks like the extremely punctual game in which everything is done according to schedule. All websites give the same list of baazi timings – 1st baazi at 10:28 AM, 2nd at 11:58 AM, and so on until 8th at 9:00 PM. Is this punctuality real or it is just an illusion? I was quite sure about it until I found the complains of players about the delays and discussed the issue with some of them. Therefore, in order to investigate the punctuality of Kolkata FF, I decided to conduct the mini experiment and got the surprising results.

My Setup for This Mini Experiment

First, I took a notebook and put there all 8 official timings of baazis. Then I noted besides each timing the exact time (with second precision) when the result of this baazi is available on fatafatkolkata.net. I did not estimate the time but relied on my phone clock synchronized with Internet time. I observed the punctuality throughout all 5 days of the test week. As a result, I collected 40 baazi observations and received quite clear picture, much clearer than the one provided by any FF community member.

What I Expected Before Starting

To be honest, before starting, I expected this game to be mostly punctual with some delays of 1-2 minutes on average. The 8 timings are well-known, the websites compete with each other for the earliest result announcement and should do everything to achieve this goal. Also, I thought that morning baazis would be more punctual than evening ones because the system would be still fresh and not overloaded yet. However, both of these expectations turned out to be wrong.

What the Data Showed

After all the observation and analysis, I received the following results:

- 22 baazis (55%) are announced in 0-2 minutes after the scheduled time;

- 11 baazis (27.5%) are delayed in 3-7 minutes;

- 5 baazis (12.5%) are delayed from 8 to 15 minutes;

- 2 baazis (5%) are delayed for more than 20 minutes, the biggest delay is 28 minutes.

The average delay of all 40 baazis is about 5.2 minutes. This is not catastrophically big, but definitely not perfect clockwork. However, the most interesting thing here is that the variance is not random – there are some patterns in the punctuality of baazis.

The 4th and 5th Baazi Are the Most Punctual

Thus, as we can see, the 4th baazi at 2:58 PM and 5th baazi at 4:30 PM are the most punctual baazis with average delay less than 2 minutes on all 5 test days. These are midday baazis when the traffic of the system is moderate and operators work efficiently. The information about the reliability of afternoon baazis was also confirmed by players who said that afternoon baazis seem more reliable. It is nice to see that such an intuition is correct according to the data.

The 8th Baazi Is the Most Unpredictable One

As for the 8th baazi at 9:00 PM, this is the most unpredictable baazi. The delays of the 8th baazi are 1 minute, 4 minutes, 12 minutes, 7 minutes, and 28 minutes on 5 test days. The latter one occurred on Friday when the betting volume is usually high and the result was announced almost half an hour after the schedule. No official explanation was given and all result pages kept silence until the result was finally announced. This confirms the information that was shared with me by many regular players saying that the 8th baazi "takes sweet time" especially during the busiest days like Fridays and Saturdays.

What Punctuality Means in an Unregulated Game

This is the general picture. Kolkata Fatafat is not the lottery regulated by government; it is the informal game without any official supervision. Thus, "scheduled times" are the community standards but not the legal obligation. There is no one to complain about in case of delay and there is no compensation in case of delay. The fact that 55% of baazis are punctual with the accuracy of 2 minutes is quite an achievement taking into account the fact that this game is unregulated. On the other hand, 45% of unpredictability is the evidence that this game works due to habits and trust, not due to the standards.

How Delays Affect Player Behavior

It is also important to note the effect that delays have on the behavior of players. Even such a small delay as several minutes creates panic in players; they start refreshing pages, jumping between Telegram channels trying to find the "leaks" and placing new bets on the next baazi to stop boredom and restlessness. The longer the delay is, the worse decisions are made in this period. Thus, the lack of punctuality in Kolkata FF is not just the inconvenience, but the integral part of the FF psychology forcing people to make wrong decisions while waiting for the result.

Day-by-Day Quick Summary

- Monday: average delay 4.1 min, relatively punctual mornings and slightly delayed evenings;

- Tuesday: average delay 3.8 min, the smoothest day of the test week;

- Wednesday: average delay 6.2 min, 6th baazi was delayed for 14 minutes;

- Thursday: average delay 4.5 min, quite a normal day;

- Friday: average delay 7.6 min, dragged down by the 28-minutes delay of the 8th baazi.

A Few Things I Learned That Surprised Me

- Punctuality is there, but not perfect, the average delay is 5-7 minutes;

- Baazis of mid-afternoon are the most reliable, evenings are the least;

- Generally, bigger delays occur during the days with the high betting volumes;

- Result pages, which update suspiciously fast (within several seconds after the scheduled time) are guessing, not confirming;

- Delay window is the time when scams and misinformation reach the peak in Telegram groups.

Closing Thought

So, is Kolkata FF the punctual game or not? The answer is mostly yes, but sometimes no, never perfectly. Being the unregulated game without any official obligations, it is surprisingly punctual in this regard, however, the delay is there and players should take it into account. If you want to track results, use fatafatkolkata.net as your trusted source since it does not announce false early results. And if a baazi is delayed, treat it as a sign that it is better to leave the screen and not to place new bets from restlessness. Punctuality brings comfort but discipline protects.
